American Acoustic is marimbist Ben Dumbauld’s homage to American Acoustic guitar music.

Inspired by both older artists such as John Fahey and Townes Van Zandt, in addition to newer guitar artists such as Sarah Louise, Gwenifer Raymond, and Yasmine Williams, the album features originals, finger-picking style improvisations, and renditions of classic American folk music.
