Originally released digitally in June 2, 2023. Jair-Rohm Parker Wells’ “Tonal Vortex” is a product of the artist’s lifelong immersion into the work of Eberhard Weber. As Parker Wells describes it, the double album serves as recorded account of his improvisatory live performances of Weber’s work, a “a practical extension” of seeing Parker Wells’ renditions of Weber pieces. While Weber remains a strong influence in the album, it is by every account Parker Wells’ own, replete bass and synthesizer work as melodic as it is atmospheric.

The physical release of the album features 2 cassette tapes and a scroll with a digital download link.
